Code of Conduct

At Professional Wedding Photographers of Canada (PWPC) we base our success on trust. We uphold the highest ethical standards when providing services to our Clients.

Because the wedding photography industry is so dynamic and complex, it is difficult to cover everything in one document. This Code of Conduct is designed to outline the behaviors that you can expect from any members of Professional Wedding Photographers of Canada (PWPC) but is not meant to be an exhaustive list of all legal or ethical matters.

Professional Wedding Photographers of Canada (PWPC) is committed to promoting integrity and maintaining the highest standard of ethical conduct in all of our activities.

We are dedicated to the following principals:
   Members must perform their duties with honesty, integrity, impartiality and objectivity;
   Any confidential information received by a member in any course of professional duties should not be disclosed to any third party;
   Members are expected to give the highest possible standard of service to the public and to improve the standards of wedding photography industry;
   Members take responsibility for their professional performance when acting as PWPC member;
   Members must act fairly and in good faith during their duties, as well as during contests, competitions, shows, etc.;
   Members must treat others with respect; treat clients and fellow PWPC members professionally.

In case of a member being found to be in breach of this code, the executive has power, in its absolute discretion, to expel or suspend that member from membership, or from any particular grade of membership, or to apply such other lesser sanction as may be appropriate.
