PWPC Points

Professional Wedding Photographers of Canada (PWPC) offers to its Members to collect 2 types of points:
   blue (listing)
   green (listing + ranking)

Blue points are used to determine the position of Photographer when Listing is displayed, and granted for:
   Submitting an Article: 2 points
   Referral Program: 1 point
They are not used to determine Photographer of the Year or Top Photographers at the end of each year, and cannot be combined with green ranking points.

Green points affect the position of Photographer when Listing is displayed, and also used to determine the rating of Photographer:
   Photographer of the Year
   Top Photographers at the end of each year

Green points are granted for winning the Contest:

For each image submitted to Contest but not considered by Judges, 0.1 blue listing point will be granted.

After every Contest, Top 15 Contest Winners will be announced on PWPC website with links to their websites.

At the end of each year, Top Photographers will be announced on PWPC website, based on Contests results.

Photographer of the Year will be announced annually and listed on PWPC website.

There will be prizes for Top finishers. Prizes will be announced later.

Judges will receive 10 ranking points for being a Judge in a Contest. Judge, and all members of a studio in case a Judge is member of a studio, cannot submit their photos to Contest, and can be a Judge only one time per year.

Note:
1. The judges representing a studio may not judge contests with participants representing any affiliated business. Images from such participants are ineligible and subject to disqualification.
2. The judges may not judge contests while in a personal relationship with a contestant. Images from such contestants are ineligible and subject to disqualification.
