James Paul Correia   James Paul Correia Photography    (Montreal, QC)

James is a constantly growing wedding photojournalist with a strong belief in natural storytelling in a fun and creative manner. He strives to document more than just visuals, focusing on capturing the emotions of the day. In his eyes, our role as wedding photojournalists is to preserve memories and capture moments that tell us exactly how you feel at that instant.

James is based in Montreal but has strong roots in Toronto splitting his time shooting weddings in both cities. Always looking to hone his craft and try something new, he builds upon his skills through workshops and constant self-improvement. He has won awards in previous PWPC contests and looks forward to seeing all the talent in this years competition.

PWPC Spring 2012 Wedding Photography Contest Judge: Jean Chartrand
Jean Chartrand   DigitalPixs    (Ottawa, ON)

I have been working in the photography field for 30 years. I worked for the National Film Board of Canada, Kodak Canada, Danka International and myself. I have made prints for Karsh, photographed a couple of Prime Ministers, Princess Diana, Paul Gross, Caroline Dhavernas but I also photograph everyday people's weddings, family portraits and special events.

Always looking to improve myself, I attend seminars, workshops and enter print shows to challenge myself as a photographer. In 2011, I received my Masters designation from the PPOC.
For me photography is more than just a job, I love the creativity, I love the challenges of a shoot, I love the teachers who share their knowledge with us.
I look forward to see all of your images.
