PWPC Spring 2019 Wedding Photography Contest Judge: Barbara Cameron
Barbara Cameron   Barbara Ann Studios    (Ottawa, ON)

I'm a people person. I love meeting, connecting, and working with other humans. I love celebrating people's milestones with them.

I love love. And I live for a wicked party.

Wedding photography brings all of my strengths together and lets me thrive in a world I adore.

Creating luxury images for people is my passion.

Although based in Ottawa, I regularly fly back home to PEI and Nova Scotia to document weddings.

PWPC Spring 2019 Wedding Photography Contest Judge: Fran Chelico
Fran Chelico   Fran Chelico Photography    (North Vancouver, BC)

Fran Chelico moved to Vancouver seven years ago after receiving formal training in New York City.

After dabbling in all kinds of photography she found her true love with weddings. She loves the thrill and magic of weddings. To be able to capture a bride at her happiest and most radiant moment is always such a thrill. The couple are surrounded by all of the people who matter most and to capture the most tender moments as they unfold, is very magical. To be responsible for someone else's memories that years from now will be relived over and over again just makes me so proud and fills my heart with joy. It is always such an honor.

Awards: PWPC, Fearless Photographer, JuneBug Weddings, and BC Wedding awards.

PWPC Spring 2019 Wedding Photography Contest Judge: Jessica Schlamp
Jessica Schlamp   Jessandy Studios Inc.    (Kelowna, BC)

I'm Jessica Schlamp, a wedding, celebrity and unit stills photographer in BC with my husband Andy. I have photographed professionally since 2009 for clients including hollywood actors, pro athletes, international brands and politicians. You can find my images on movie posters, book covers, in dozens of international media publications, and wedding blogs and magazines. I've been awarded for two wedding images by PWPC. In 2018 I won 9 wedding and engagement photo awards from WPJA as well as was recognized as a Top 100 Wedding Photographer by the Artistic Guild. I also run a wedding media community and blog which educates couples on wedding planning, and wedding professionals on starting and growing their business. I love photographing weddings and meeting amazing people from around the world; it's the best job ever!

PWPC Spring 2019 Wedding Photography Contest Judge: Jozef Povazan
Jozef Povazan   Povazan Photography    (North Vancouver, BC)

I started my photography adventure a long time ago, with the criminal police department in Europe for undercover operations. One day I simply quit the job and moved to the UK to study the art of black and white photography. When I 'learned enough' to know how not to ruin the film emulsion by switching the lights off in the darkroom I thought I had it all figured out and moved to Vancouver, BC to follow my dreams. While there I was lucky enough to meet the love of my life, who then travelled the world with me (and our cameras). Wedding photography came to our lives in 2009. After seeing so many beautiful places and meetings so many amazing people weddings were simply the perfect fit for us. The thrill of photography adventures in our lives remains, even though criminals, Mt. Everest hikes and sleepless nights in humid Malaysian jungles have been exchanged for brides and grooms celebrating love. My biggest award so far - apart from photography - is my wife, Maria, and our children, Sofia & Joshua.
