PWPC Winter 2019 Wedding Photography Contest Judge: Esther Gibbons
Esther Gibbons   Esther Gibbons Photography    (Montreal, QC)

Esther Gibbons is a wedding photographer based in Montreal, Quebec.
Her photography is candid and authentic, with a focus on documenting real moments between people.
Her down-to-earth, friendly approach puts couples at ease and helps create natural portraits.
She began shooting weddings in 2009. Since then, she has photographed weddings of all types, from intimate family getaways in the Quebec countryside, to big celebrations at Montreal's traditional wedding venues.
She especially loves being able to witness each wedding day from behind-the-scenes and having privileged access to tell each couple's story.
PWPC Winter 2019 Wedding Photography Contest Judge: Katie-Marie Tidy
Katie-Marie Tidy   Photography by Katie-Marie    (Mascouche, QC)

Katie-Marie Tidy's career began in 2014, documenting weddings for and along side her now partner Dory Chamoun (internationally awarded photographer). Her passion grew long before, however. Katie describes her childhood home as a museum in which her mother adorned every wall with images captured, both candid and posed. Since the beginning of her career as a photographer she has started up her own wedding and portrait photography business (Photography by Katie-Marie), as well as a collaborative effort (Dory and Kate Photography). She has collected numerous awards during this time, many from PWPC. Her style varies, but tends to gravitate more towards the dark, grainy, film-inspired style.
Because she feels that each wedding is unique, she strives to document them all in a manner that helps each couple relive their story in its own authentic way.
PWPC Winter 2019 Wedding Photography Contest Judges: Marcin &Dorota Karpowicz
Marcin & Dorota Karpowicz   B.D.F.K. Photography    (Edmonton, AB)

We are Marcin & Dorota. We love to travel and capture emotions and memories in photographs. We lived in Poland and the United States before settling in Canada.
Our photography began in nature where we captured award winning photos of the natural environment recognized among others by Black & White Spider Awards and Canadian Geographic, but we were drawn to people and capturing the richness of their emotions in photos. In 2014 we founded the B.D.F.K. Photography.
Since founding BDFK Photography, the success of our documentary vision has earned us numerous awards in digital competition from PWPC, Fearless Photographers, ISPWP, WPJA, AG WPJA, Junebug Weddings. In 2017 we were recognized as top 50 photographers by AG WPJA and ISPWP.
In 2018 our photos were published as the best wedding photos in the world by Insider and MSN.
